Family I have two sons who live locally and a daughter who lives in Fort Myers, FL. Each owns a construction business and takes good care of their Mom! Two dogs are my constant companions. Also I have four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Where life took me after TF South

I never liked school so took secretarial training to prepare for my career.  After graduating I had my first secretarial position within two weeks and married four weeks later. (Divorced after 17 years.) Had our three children within six years. I quickly realized during my off and on years of working as an executive assistant that it was not “my thing”. In my early forties I luckily was hired into a typesetting and graphics firm and found my niche. After having become manager, it was about the time that desktop publishing came along whereby typesetting/graphics could be accomplished on a home computer. Shortly afterward I bought equipment and opened my studio producing pre-print materials such as newsletters, magazines and book jackets. The work was very fulfilling. When I retired and married my husband of 20 years, who has passed on, I resumed painting landscapes and florals in oil. Commissioned pet portraits in watercolors.  My flower garden is my happy place.Three states have been my home at times. But Indiana wins out with Florida winters.
